I’m Mohammad, a first-year Math student at the University of Waterloo (Computational Mathematics) who ships ML-backed products end-to-end — data → model → API → UI. I like small, fast services with clear docs and tests. Recently I’ve built a language-detection web service with FastAPI, Flask APIs for an EMR, and a resturant customer-management system, containerized with Docker and backed by PostgreSQL.
Now: building an attendance-forecasting model for our community center (linear regression/XGBoost/LightGBM), and digging into conversational AI + latency-aware API design. Looking for: Summer 2026 backend/ML internships where I can own a thin slice and ship.
